Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver-guide for a safari briefing. Shortly after, begin the scenic drive toward the south, heading to the ancient Nyungwe National Park.

In the morning, enjoy a guided hike to one of Nyungwe's spectacular waterfalls. After lunch, head into the forest at 3:00 PM for a trek to observe the large, playful troops of Angolan Colobus monkeys.

An early start at the park offices for your Chimpanzee trekking briefing. After an immersive morning in the forest with the chimps and a restorative lunch, transfer north toward the mist-covered peaks of Volcanoes National Park.

Following an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters at 07:00 AM. After your briefing, trek into the forest for a life-changing encounter with Mountain Gorillas. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village to learn about traditional Rwandan life, dance, and archery.

Enjoy a final morning trek to see the rare and active Golden Monkeys in the bamboo thickets. Following lunch at the lodge, drive back to Kigali for your transfer to the airport and your departure flight.
