After pick-up from your Kigali hotel (location to be advised), you will enjoy a scenic road transfer to Akagera National Park, approximately 3.5–4 hours. You'll arrive at the Northern Gate around 11:00 am and continue to your lodge.
Upon arrival, you will check in and settle into your elegant tented accommodation.
In the afternoon, you will begin your safari experience with lodge-led activities such as guided game drives, a boat safari on the lake, and all-inclusive meals.
You will enjoy up to two safari activities per day, offering your first close encounters with Akagera’s diverse wildlife. Accommodation at Magashi Peninsula Camp
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Today is dedicated to exploring Akagera National Park through two expertly guided safari activities, scheduled in the morning and afternoon.
You'll set out on thrilling game drives across open plains and lakeshores, where sightings may include elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and abundant birdlife. Wildlife encounters are always unpredictable, making each outing a unique and exciting experience.
Between activities, relax at the lodge and enjoy the serene surroundings.

After breakfast, you will continue your Akagera adventure with another full day of lodge-curated safari activities.
Choose from game drives, walking safaris, boat cruises, or catch-and-release fishing, all guided
by experienced professionals.
Listen for alarm calls, track animal movements, and enjoy the thrill of discovering wildlife in its natural habitat. You'll enjoy breakfast at the lodge before a final morning safari activity, offering one last opportunity to experience Akagera’s wildlife.
At 11:00 am, you'll meet your guide at the Northern Gate and begin your private road transfer back to Kigali (approximately 3–4 hours). Lunch will be provided en route. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be dropped off at your preferred location (to be advised), marking the end of your luxury safari.
