Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette, Dani Ceballos and Nicolas Pepe show us how to travel to Rwanda

Rwanda is now open and we are excited to welcome visitors for safe and seamless experiences. All tourism activities, including primate trekking within Rwanda’s national parks, have now resumed with enhanced COVID-19 prevention measures. The well-being of all travelers is Rwanda’s top priority and the country has put in place robust health and safety guidelines. Negative COVID-19 Test
We kindly ask you to have your COVID-19 negative test results taken within the last 5 days at your point of departure as well as your completed Public Health Passenger Locator Form ready to present to health staff.

The only accepted test is a SARS-CoV 2 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) performed within 72 hours of departure (meaning travelers must be tested and get results within 3 days of their first flight). Other tests, such as Rapid Diagnostics Test (RDTs), are not accepted.

Wear Your Face Mask
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport, please ensure your face mask is properly fitted, covering both your mouth and nose. For your safety, service counters have been fitted with transparent barriers. All airport personnel will also be wearing masks at all times.

Sanitisation & Keeping The Distance
We ask that you sanitise your hands and footwear before entering the terminal. Hand sanitisers have been installed throughout the airport and at hospitality establishments across the country. We also kindly request you to maintain a distance from others of 1 to 2 metres at all times. Markers are in place to help you keep the distance.

Temperature Check
As you enter the airport, thermal imaging cameras will check your temperature and health professionals will be on standby to ensure you receive the best care.

Second COVID-19 Test
A second PCR COVID-19 test will be taken at the Kigali International Airport and the results will be processed within 24 hours.

Relax and Wait for Results
Dedicated transport will be waiting outside the terminal to take you to designated hotels. You will be kindly required to wait and relax at the hotel for 24 hours for the results.
