Your exciting journey begins as you arrive at Kigali International Airport, where the VIP Meet & Greet team will ensure a smooth and efficient arrival. Skip the lines and enjoy fast-tracked immigration, with assistance for Visa processing, luggage handling, and customs clearance.
After airport formalities, you'll meet your expert local guide, who will provide a detailed briefing of your itinerary and introduce you to Rwanda’s culture, history, and wildlife.

You'll be transferred to your hotel as you journey through the picturesque city of Kigali. During the ride, your guide might offer fascinating insights into the city's landmarks and rich history.

You'll check in at the hotel and settle into your rooms, offering modern comfort and a relaxing atmosphere for your stay. Take time to unwind after your flight and relax in the peaceful setting of the hotel, perfect for acclimatizing to your new environment.

After a morning breakfast, take a tour of the Campaign against Genocide Museum to learn about the tragic history of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide and its lasting impact on the nation's journey toward healing and reconciliation."

Proceed with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn more about the history of Rwanda (including an audio guide and a wreath to pay respect to the victims at the memorial.

After lunch, you'll experience a coffee master class and discover how Rwanda’s world-class coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and brewed, with hands-on experiences from picking cherries to creating your own blend to take home, perfect for gifts or personal brewing.

Afternoon: Your guide and vehicle will be available for the day if you wish to explore Kigali based on your wishes, visit the Rwandan Art gallery, fashion, jewelry, souvenir shops, and visit the golf club. You can also visit a fantastic sanctuary with great birdlife and hear about the project: Save the Crowned.

You'll have a morning breakfast and check out. You'll have a road transfer to Akagera National Park (3.5-4 hours’ drive)
Arriving at the Northern gate of the park at 11 am and transferring to your lodge. You'll check in at Magashi Camp.

Gear up for thrilling game drives on a safari with the lodge. A wildlife sighting is always unpredictable, and that’s what makes the game drive so exciting. Listing for alarm calls and be on the alert for nearby predators. There is so much to see, and being the first to sport something brings a whole new level of satisfaction to your day.

Early Morning Wake-up: Start the day with a refreshing cup of coffee or tea, accompanied by some fresh fruits. Embark on an exciting early morning safari with a local ranger to spot wildlife in the park.

The safari promises surprises as nature reveals its wonders. Expect to see a variety of wildlife, including buffalo, antelopes (such as elands and topis), Masai giraffes, monkeys, savannah birds, civets, leopards, hyenas, serval cats, and possibly lions after the safari, enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge.

You'll return to Kigali by road and spend the night at a comfortable hotel accommodation at the retreat

After breakfast, you will have a transfer to Nyungwe National Park.

Private road transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe. Along the way to Nyungwe Forest, you'll stop off in the Cultural Heritage Corridor of Rwanda and visit the King’s Palace and the Ethnographic Museum

Covering over 1000 square kilometres, Nyungwe is surely one of the world’s most beautiful and pristine mountain rainforests. It’s believed to be one of Africa’s oldest forests, staying green even through the Ice Age, which explains its diversity. Home to habituated chimpanzees and 12 other primate species (including a 400-strong troop of habituated Ruwenzori Black & White Colobus), it’s also a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 300 species, including 16 endemics, and is home to 75 different species of mammal.

You'll wake up early to go chimpanzee tracking in the Nyungwe Forest. After a short briefing by your guide, walk through stunning tea plantations before entering the thick, luscious forest. There are over 13 species of monkey found in the forest, and excellent birding opportunities with over 100 species of butterflies and the occasional chameleon.

The excursion can last from one to four hours, but you will definitely hear the chimpanzees from the moment you enter the forest. Once found, you will stay for an hour with the chimpanzees, watching them play, fight, and eat in the atmospheric forest.
You'll head to the tea plantation for a guided tour. You'll learn about the meticulous process of tea production, from plucking the leaves to their final processing. You'll take a leisurely walk through the vast plantation, where you can enjoy stunning views of rolling hills covered in vibrant green tea plants.

After a morning breakfast and check out, you'll proceed with a transfer from Nyungwe N.P to Lake Kivu 2-3hrs drive. You'll have lunch at the lodge (included).
You'll begin your day upon arrival, take a relaxing boat ride to Napoleon Island, home to bats and exotic birds, with panoramic lake views surrounding you.

After a morning breakfast, you'll cycle through serene lakeside trails and enjoy a deeper connection to Rwanda’s stunning landscapes. This guided e-bike adventure covers approximately 10–12 km over 3–4 hours, offering a gentle and scenic ride.

8:00 AM: You'll start your day with breakfast at Umurobyi Lodge, located on the tranquil shores of Lake Kivu- check out and set off on your adventure, heading towards Volcanoes National Park.
You'll arrive at the shores of Lake Kivu, where you'll board a local boat for a serene tour across the lake. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the lush hills, tranquil islands, and crystal-clear waters.

Coffee Tour in Gisenyi: Following lunch, you will venture to Gisenyi for a Coffee Tour in one of Rwanda’s premier coffee-growing regions. Discover the intricate process of coffee production, from bean picking to roasting, and sample some of the freshest, most flavorful coffee.
There are options to stop at the soothing natural hot springs.

Scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park: In the afternoon, you'll drive to Volcanoes National Park, located in Rwanda’s northwest. The scenic route through the Virunga Mountains offers stunning vistas of verdant valleys, dense forests, and towering peaks.

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out of your room. You can store the luggage at the lodge.

Transfer to Golden monkey tracking: Hiking to see the smaller and nimbler monkeys is a fun and adventurous way to explore the forest. Named because of their bright orange bodies, they are indigenous to the region and more elusive than the gorillas, and these fast-moving monkeys will certainly keep you on your toes.

Transfer to Meza Malonga for an early lunch featuring a traditional boat tour, campus visits, and an 8-course Afro-fusion tasting menu with stunning volcano views and chef interaction. Beginning with a boat tour on a traditional fishing vessel, you'll learn about the Twin Lakes region and ecosystem. Upon arrival at the campus, you are greeted with a welcome drink and your first taste. We then invite you into our home for a tour with unique sights, aromas, flavors, feelings, and sounds, heightening your senses and preparing you for an exquisite tasting menu.

You'll wake up at sunrise and drive the short journey to the park headquarters, where a briefing, porters, and tea and coffee will be given before starting the adventure into the forest.

We offer complementary local porters who can help the guide to complete the gorilla tracking experience. They will assist you with your daypack and give you a hand when the path is slippery, steep, or irregular.

Gorilla treks are a life-changing opportunity to encounter our closest relatives in the Rwandan wild. Your guide will drive you to the starting point: Tracking can be between 90 minutes and the whole morning, depending on which family group is assigned. You will spend one hour with the gorillas— sometimes moving around to stay with the gorillas or following them. The guide will ensure you are in the best spots to take the most beautiful pictures and experience the breathtaking sights properly. You'll enjoy a relaxed morning to take in the final views of the volcanoes before beginning the drive back to Kigali. 2.5-3 hours’ drive.

Depending on your departure time, there may be opportunities for last-minute shopping or a farewell dinner in the city. You will have a farewell dinner and drinks at one of the best Restaurant (Own account) You'll transfer to Kigali International Airport to connect to your international flight You'll depart Rwanda (TBA-Evening flight).
