Day 1 Arrival in Kigali – Visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus – Transfer to Bwindi (Rushaga Sector)

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and enjoy VIP Meet & Greet assistance, including fast track, visa support, and luggage handling. Begin your journey towards Musanze, where you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund—a world-class conservation centre showcasing interactive exhibits and the legacy of gorilla protection.
After your visit, proceed towards the Uganda border (East African Visa recommended for a smooth crossing) and continue your scenic drive into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the Rushaga sector. Spend the remainder of your afternoon relaxing or enjoying complimentary lodge activities.

Day 2 Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Rushaga Sector

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for your trekking briefing. Begin your trek through steep forested terrain in search of a gorilla family—one of Africa’s most moving wildlife encounters. Once the gorillas are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing their behaviour and interactions.

A complimentary porter will support you during the trek, assisting with your daypack and helping on steep or slippery sections—also contributing directly to the local community. Return for a late lunch and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Scenic Drive to Kigali – Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial – Departure from Rwanda

Enjoy breakfast before starting your return drive to Kigali, passing through the beautiful landscapes of Volcanoes National Park. Stop for lunch en route, taking in the views of rolling hills, volcanic peaks, and rural communities along the way.
Upon arrival in Kigali, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful and educational tribute that offers insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and reconciliation journey. After the visit, proceed to Kigali International Airport for your international flight. End of tour.
