Journey Time: 8 – 10 Hours

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport (suitable for morning flights), you will be met by our representative and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by road.

You will stopover in Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to Bwindi.
On arrival, check-in and recuperate from the long drive in preparation for another tough day ahead.
Overnight at Gorilla Valley Lodge/ Mahogany Springs / Trackers Safari Lodge.

Overnight : Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

Meals : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Breakfast starts at 06:00 depending on the location of your gorilla trek. You will also have a lunch box handed to you before driving to the park headquarters for briefing.

After a long trek in the forest, you will spend a full hour watching, photographing & learn more about the giant apes limited to only Uganda, Rwanda & the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Birding is also among the activities, as the park is home to over 348 bird species (African green broadbill, Shelley’s crimson & more), together with 220 butterfly species awaiting your visit. Thereafter return to the hotel for lunch, with optional activities in the evening.
Optional Activities: Batwa Cultural Trail & Community/Nature walk in the afternoon
