This 4 Day Gorilla trekking and golden monkeys trekking safari will take you from Kigali international airport all the way to Muhabura Hotel for overnight stay and into Virunga National Park and Volcanoes National Park for Observing of primates. You will also get to visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo and have the opportunity to visit the Genocide Memorial Center.

You will be met by Golden Rwanda Safaris driver/guide at the Kigali International airport you will have a brief meet and greet and learn about your safari. You will then be driven to hotel Muhabura for your overnight stay. the journey should take around 2 hours. You can also arrange to stay the night in Kigali depending on the time or arrival in the airport.

Transfer to Virunga National Park for the first Gorilla Trekking. You have to be at RDB's Office at 7am for a short briefing before you can depart on the adventure. Expect to make some amazing memories trekking these gorillas. At the end of the day you will return to the hotel for overnight.

Accommodation: Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel
After your morning wake up call and breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters. Here you will go over Golden Monkeys trekking formalities and get a briefing by the Volcanoes National Park guides. After the Golden Monkey trek, have lunch at the hotel and enjoy the scenery. Overnight at the hotel.

Before being transferred to Kigali, you will visit the twin lakes Burera & Ruhondo. these are beautiful lakes located at the base of the volcano Muhabura and close to the border with Uganda . they are surrounded by steep hills and large waterfalls with a backdrop of the Virunga volcanic mountains. these twin lakes are great spots to visit and used to be referred to as neglected gems. Their deep blue waters ringed by steep hills and tall waterfalls with the outline of the nearby Virunga Volcanoes provide a spectacular backdrop. Depending on your departure time and if you missed an opportunity on the first day, you will have Kigali city trip including the visit of the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center at Gisozi and an excursion in Kigali town.
