7 Days/ 6Nights Gorillas and Wildlife

Day one of gorilla trekking: track mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, with a
strenuous, hours-long hike to view the creatures for one magical hour. Spend a relaxing
afternoon at leisure visiting the farmlands, villages, and markets that surround Kinigi and
Musanze towns. A walk or drive along these rural roads is where one can really enjoy
Rwanda's street culture, with a fascinating blend of farmers, businessmen, bars, and
shops after relaxing at the hotel you will go to Visit Diane Fossey research center and learn how
she changed Gorilla’s life from unhabituated to habituated thereafter back at the Lodge for
Dinner.
Stay: Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel Middle range

After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you start your trip to Volcano National Park for
the hike of one of the Dormant Volcanoes with a very good view of the Volcanoes which can take
between 5 – 6 Hrs. Hiking, thereafter back at the Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

This morning, you will depart very early with your drive to Volcanoes National Park after
Breakfast again at 6:30 am you will drive to RDB's Office for your Golden Monkey tracking,
(takes 2 to 4 hours) after descending and back to your Hotel for Lunch you will be transferred
to Akagera National Park via, Arrive at the park reception for checking and continue to Akagera
Game Lodge/Ruzizi tented Lodge, in check-in and lunch at the lodge

Second game drive Explore the area in an open 4x4 vehicle, this is an excellent way to view the
water birds and many other aquatic animals seen around Lake Rwanyakazinga. And continue to
Kirara Plane in the northern part then back and overnight stay at Magashi Camp/Akagera Game
Lodge/Ruzizi tented Lodge

On this day you will go for a game drive, birding, guided one, and later a night game drive.
Akagera is renowned as one of the best birding areas in the world with more than 500 species
recorded at the park. Year-round walking safaris are offered in limited areas, weather permitting.
Magahi is in the only private access area in Akagera so exclusive night game drives in open 4x4
vehicles are offered. Overnight stay at the Lodge

After breakfast, there will Full Kigali City Tour Inclusive Kigali Genocide Memorial, and Kimironko market
for souvenirs depending on your departure flight, you may go on a complimentary visit to
the Ntarama Church. This was the site where more than 5,000 were killed during the 1994
Rwandan Genocide. This genocide memorial is located 30km south of Kigali in the Bugesera
region. This church and its contents are a reminder of the horrifying violence that took place.
