Day 01 :

Kigali – Transfer to Nyungwe

Pick up from your hotel and drive toward Nyungwe National Park via the Nyanza King's Palace for a traditional cattle experience. Continue to Nyungwe for a 3:00 PM Canopy Walk before checking in at Munazi Eco Lodge or Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel.

Day 02 :

Nyungwe National Park Chimpanzee Trek

Rise early for breakfast and transfer to the park offices for a briefing. Enter the forest at dawn to observe primate species and forest birds, followed by chimpanzee trekking. Return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a Colobus Monkey trek. Overnight stay at Kivu Serena Hotel.

Day 03 :

Lake Kivu – Musanze (Volcanoes National Park)

After breakfast, spend the morning at Lake Kivu relaxing, swimming, kayaking, cycling, or hiking. After lunch, drive to Musanze. Visit the Gorilla Guardians cultural village before checking in for your overnight stay at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.

Day 04 :

Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla Trekking

Following an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a 7:00 AM briefing. The trek typically takes 2–6 hours. Spend one hour observing a habituated gorilla family before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, back at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.

Day 05 :

Golden Monkey Trekking – Departure

After breakfast and a briefing, begin your Golden Monkey trek. After the hike, return to the lodge for lunch before driving back to Kigali for your departure flight or hotel transfer.
