An early morning breakfast is followed by a drive to Nyungwe forest. On the way visit Nyanza King’s Palace, the National Museum of Butare and Nyanza which was the headquarters of the ancient Rwanda Kingdom before the arrival of the Europeans. The compound has the modern palace constructed by King Mutara in 1934. It is tastefully decorated with the traditional mats and utensils after check-in and overnight stay at Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel

After breakfast you will enter the Nyungwe forest to track the chimpanzees and after back at the hotel for Lunch then driver to Uwinka overlook for Nyungwe Canopy walk and back at the hotel for Dinner and relax.

Early in the morning you will head to Kibuye via Gisakura after the hikes of Nyungwe waterfalls. Along the way you will enjoy the thousands of beautiful green hills that make up our country as well as views of Kivu Lake. Your overnight will be at the Cormoran Lodge where you can access beach of Lake Kivu with view of sunset.

Today you will transfer to Gisenyi by speed boat or by vehicle (the choice is yours). Along the way you will explore the wonderful views of the different islands along Lake Kivu and some of the Congolese hills. Your overnight will be at the Kivu Serena Hotel.

After breakfast, you will spend part of the day relaxing and swimming at Kivu Serena Beach, Kayaking, cycling hiking). After you will drive to Musanze, the base town for visiting mountain gorillas. Enjoy a visit of cultural village (Gorilla guardians village) and then overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique

Early in the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park for your first gorilla trek. You will arrive at the main office at 7:00am for a short briefing and coffee break before going on your trek. Your overnight will be at hotel Five Volcanoes.

This day you will visit the golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. You will again have to be at the main office at 7:00 am for a short briefing before your trek. Return at lunchtime, thereafter transfer to Akagera National Park via Kigali overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge.

Eastern Rwanda on the border with Tanzania which is managed by African Parks, and this has done a great job with conservation. In the past, there were lots of conflict between people and the park but this was solved by fencing off part of the park and the introduction of community tours where visitors are encouraged to visit the communities and benefit accordingly. Akagera national park is the only Savannah park in Rwanda and is home to several mammal species including Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Kobs, Zebras, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, and most recently Black Rhinos have been introduced from South Africa, making Akagera national park officially a big 5 park like it was many years ago. It is also home to numerous bird species in several habitats which include woodland, swamps, lakes, and Savannah. Exist the Park back to Kigali and overnight stay at the hotel.

Take a complementary city tour to visit interesting touristic spots in the city which may include the craft market, Gisozi genocide memorial site, and Kigali museums. Also engage in last minute shopping in one of the friendliest African capitals before returning to the Hotel for overnight stay.

After relaxing time in Kigali Depends on your flight back home your Driver guide will drop you at the airport, bye bye Kigali.
